Library and LAB
Library
1. Students are expected to make the use of the library.
2. The library will be kept open on all working days between 8.00 am. & 5.00 pm.
3. The students should hand the properties of the library with care and ensure cleanliness
and tidiness.
4. Strict silence should be maintained in the library.
5. Students who happen to have no class are expected to be in the library.
6. A book, which is in special demand, may be lent out for a period shorter than 15 days.
Loan may be terminated at any time by the librarian.
7. No book, which in the opinion of the librarian is not sufficiently in good condition
for safe handing, shall be issued.
8. Each candidate will be issued two library cards. Not more than two books at a time shall
be issued from the library. Books issued from the library may be kept for a maximum
period of 5 days at a time. If a member fails to return the book on the due date a fine
of FIVE RUPEES per day per book will be levied. Books will not be issued till the
fine is paid.
9. Reference books and periodicals will not be issued.
10. Students are not allowed to sub-lend the books taken from the library.
11. In case ticket is lost, the matter has to be brought to the notice of librarian.. A new
ticket may be issued against the payment of Rs.50/-.
12. All borrowed books should be return in the month of March. There will not be any
issue of library books in the month of April and May.
13. Books borrowed are the responsibility of the students. If lost or found in torn
condition, the student is required to replace the books or pay three times the
cost of the books.
14. Internet facility is available in the library for the students to collect information on
various topics.
15. Inter-Library loan, infra-service, CAS & SDI are also provided to the staff and
students by the librarian.
COMPUTER LAB
The college has a spacious air-conditioned computer laboratory with 50 systems. 20 Digital Logic Trainers and 25 Micro-processors are also available. An inkjet color printer and two dot matrix printer is connected to LAN to enable the students to take printouts for the record work and project work. On-line testing facility is and added advantage to the students to prepare well for exams. Internet facility is given to the machines which help the students to collect information.
VISUAL COMMUNICATION LAB & STUDIO
A good ventilated spacious drawing room with independent drawing table for each student is available. All the drawing tables are provided with a light attached to them to make the drawing process focused. The lab is designed to facilitate the drawing skills in the students.
The department has modern studio for art, photography and multimedia.
