The Rotaract Club was installed on July 30th,Thursday 2009,in the college seminar hall. RTN. Seshadri (Rotary Club of Madras Central ) was the Chief Guest. RTN.Somaskandan (Youth Service Director) was the Guest of Honour. DRR Solomon Victor, gave an eloquent speech and inspired our Rotaractors. DRS Lakshmi Teja, ZRR Sunitha Jenifer, District Officials and other club members also gave their valuable presence.
 
EVENTS ATTENDED BY OUR ROTARACTORS:

On July 19TH 2009, the District Installation was held in German Hall, T. Nagar. On the same date, Madras Central installation was also held. The function was followed by a award ceremony for the year 2008-09 . The following awards were given to our college;

          Star Performer Award :   S.Prashanthin,  M.Padmaja
          Best Joint Project Award for the project ‘MANN VASANAI’.

On 25TH July, 2009, “SARGAM”, a musical fest held which was conducted jointly by Rotaract Clubs of Hindu college and East coast at Vani Mahal,T.nagar.  
15 Rotaractors actively attended the function.
                  
On 8th August, 2009, 177 Rotaractors and staff inicharge, Ms. Ajeetha participated in ‘STREE SURAKSHA-09’ Rally against DOMESTIC VIOLENCE at the Gandhi Statue, Marina.

On 13th August, a guest lecture on the topic ‘CHANGE IS POSSIBLE’, was given by Dr.A.RAJA, M.A., Ph. D., PGT in St.Vincent’s Matriculation Hr. Sec. School.
