  • Shakthi Cell inaugurated the Add-on Courses and Aesthetic Activities for the academic year 2009-10 on 29th June, 2009.

  • The Plan of Activities for the academic year 2009-10 is as follows
  • Add-on Courses
  • For the I year students (both Day and Evening College), Effective Business English Diploma Course is conducted by AIMS. The Lecturer Incharge is Ms. Vasumathi.
  • For the II year Day college students, in the Odd Semester, Computer Literacy Programme is offered by Careers Junction. The students of Arts Wing will learn Tally & SPSS. The students of the Science Wing will learn XML & EJB. The students of Viscom will learn Audio and Video packages.
  • In the Even Semester, the students will be able to choose one of the following courses:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Travel & Tourism Management

  • For the II year Evening College Students, in the Odd Semester, Bank Management, Teacher Training, Brand Management and Spanish is offered. In the Even Semester, Guidance & Counseling, Retail Management, Finance Management and German will be offered.
  • All the above-mentioned courses are conducted by AIMS and the Lecturer Incharge is Ms. C.K.Deepa.
  • For the III year students (both Day and Evening College), Life Skills – A College Finishing Course is offered by AIMS. The Lecturer Incharge is Dr. Harshalata Shah.

  • A total of 100 seminars have been planned for both staff and the students
  • Dr. Malathy Sri is the Incharge for Staff Seminars
  • Ms. B. Kavitha is the Incharge for Student Seminars
  • Wall Magazine
  • One topic will be given each month for students to submit a write-up. The best write-up will be put upon Board.
  • Ms. Vimali John is the Incharge for Day College and Ms. Harini for the Evening College.
  • Competitions
  • 2 competitions per month – a total of 12 competitions will be conducted for all classes.
  • The respective Class Incharges and Head Incharges will conduct the competitions.
  • Projects
  • The I years will have to submit a Collaborative Project in subject-related title. Dr. Santhosh Smitha (Day College) and Ms. Dhanalakshmi (Evening College) are the Incharages for Collaborative Projects.
  • The II year students will submit an Environmental Project as per the academic requirements. Ms. Sowmya & Ms. Sasikala (Day College) and Ms. Suganya & Ms. Babitha (Evening College) are the Incharges for the same.
  • Staff Research Projects
  • Faculty members will present research projects. This will be under the direct guidance of the Advisor and the Principal.
