The SIFE is an initiative to build partnerships between business and higher education to prepare the next generation entrepreneurs and business leaders to create a better world for everyone.
 
The SIFE activities of our college are being carried out under the guidance of our College management and Principal, by the Faculty Advisor, Ms. J.Nithya.
 
As a part of it’s 1st project, a team of 20 women under the poverty line and 20 students are developing a project to meet the needs of the community by performing the following tasks:
                    Developing technical skills
                    Financial Aids
                    Marketing their own products and
                    Monitoring growth
 
In this regard, Jewellery Making classes were conducted from 25th to 28th May, 2009. The learning materials were provided to the women and they learnt to make simple jewellery items. At present, the women have begun their business.
 
Jewellery made by these women have been put for sale in a stall at the college campus and they are reaping the fruits of their hard work.
On 1st July, 2009 Ms. J.Nithya, Faculty Advisor, SIFE of our college attended the SIFE National Conference at Mumbai.
